Life
Sometimes I wonder why life has to be so hard for such good people. I believe in God and believe that He is the reason for the way things happen, but why does He have to make it so hard for good people???? I'm not saying that anyone deserves to have bad things happen to them, but why do they have to happen to people who try so hard to make things right or do the right thing? My in-laws are good people, but they just can't seem to keep from being put through the wringer lately. They do all the right things, they help others, they go to church, they're good to each other, but God still seems to throw the craziest things their way. Please pray for all of them as they seriously need it right now.

I have personally come to the conclusions the God will not/ does not give us anything that He does not think we can handle and that what doesn't kill you really does make you stronger inside and out! From my family to your's you are in our thoughts and prayers. I feel that it will work itself out for the better in the end! Love you guys!
P.S. Great blog!
I agree with Elizabeth! The stronger you are the more you can handle...at least thats how I look at it! You always have to think too that everything happens for a reason even when we dont understand it! Prayin...
You know, I've asked that question. As I've watched God's people suffer around me, I've asked it over and over in the years I've been a believer. As I've grown in Him though, I've been reminded that none of us are "good." Up against the backdrop of God's holiness we're all sinners. None of us deserve good things. None of us deserve the grace He offers us.
I've decided to try with my whole heart to keep in mind that He does offer ALL of us the very best thing...Himself. If I believe that He alone is the best thing then I have to take every opportunity, even the yucky ones, to know Him more.
The "good people" who trust in Christ will have all of eternity to praise Him without tears or pain or loss any other "bad thing." If we really do trust Him, we have to believe in his love and his goodness. We don't have to understand it, but we have to be able cling to it.
Romans 8:28 says "And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose."
Love you, sis!
