This picture just sums up what today was all about.
Today was about remembering Steve. Today was about grieving for Steve and his family. The hardest thing is to see 6 grown men crying for a friend they loved and adored and a 3 year old girl who can't understand what has happened to her Daddy. The one thing that could help us to all feel better would be knowing that Steve is in Heaven waiting for his baby girl, but it's hard to think a Christian would be able to take his own life.
Therefore, how do we know that he was a believer and will indeed be waiting for her?
(I promise this is the last sad posting for awhile!!)

Heartbreaking. Truly.
That is sad. I wish I could say that I havent experienced that same sadness...I have been to more funerals where the person ended their own life than anyone should have to attend. Its times like these where each individual must cling to all the faith and hope and goodness that God's love and mercy has to offer and lift up the family and friends in prayer.
