Gwamma!

Yep! That's what Brianna said! She finally attempted to say "GRANDMA"! My Mom has been trying to get her to say Grandma since she was itty bitty. Unfortunately, she started saying "Papa" way early and just wouldn't let it go. She finally started to call my Mom "Ba Du" which SHE knew meant Grandma. Just yesterday on our way home from Kristie's house, Brianna and I were talking back and forth. Usually I'll go through all her animals, maybe sing "Wheels on the Bus" and ABC's and then we'll go through the family. I'll say a name she'll attempt to repeat it. Yesterday I went through as normal and when I came to Grandma she said "Gwamma"!!!! Plain as day! Tonight when I was talking to Mom, I put Bri on the phone to talk. Now, I've always given her the chance to talk to Grandma on the phone, but she usually just sits there and listens without actually talking. Tonight she was all about talking AND saying "Gwamma"! It was so stinkin' cute!!! She has just become a parrot lately and repeating everything I say. I realize the cuteness will wear off when she starts repeating some of the BAD things that may slip out of my mouth, but for now I'm going to enjoy Miss Parrot! :)
